Questions

Is this the whole bumper?

You get a brand-new bumper, the painted outer part you see on your car (body shops call it a bumper cover). The support bar behind it stays on your car and usually doesn't need replacing. Grilles, trim, and sensors move over from your old bumper.

What's your guarantee?

Look your bumper over when you pick it up. If the color doesn't match your paint code or the finish has a flaw, we repaint it free. The guarantee covers our paint work. It doesn't cover the difference between a new bumper and sun-faded paint on the rest of the car.

Why does "never folded" matter?

Many online sellers fold painted bumpers to fit them in a cheaper shipping box. That can leave creases or cracks in fresh paint, and the bumper sometimes has to be heated to get its shape back. Ours are painted here and handed to you in one piece.

Does it come with a tow hook cover?

No. Most new bumpers don't include the small tow hook cover. When you order, you can reuse the one on your old bumper or have us get a new one painted to match. A new one is billed on a separate invoice, since every car's cover is different.

Why do some colors cost more?

Solid and metallic colors are one price. Tri-coat colors, usually pearl whites and some reds, need an extra layer of paint and more labor, so they cost more. The type is shown under each color when you pick it.

Will the color match my car exactly?

We mix to your factory paint code. If your car's paint has faded, a brand-new bumper can look a shade brighter. Tell us in the notes if your car is older and we can talk options.

Where do I find my paint code?

On most cars it's on the sticker inside the driver's door jamb, labeled "C/TR", "Paint", "Color", or "EXT PNT". GM vehicles usually put it on a parts label in the glovebox or trunk, and some European cars put it under the hood or in the spare tire well. Once you pick your car above, we show where to look for your make. Still not sure? Check "I don't know my paint code" and we'll look it up from your VIN.

Can I cancel?

You can cancel for a full refund until we start painting. After that, the bumper is made for your car and can't be refunded. If the color or finish isn't right, we repaint it free.

Do you install it?

Bumpers are sold for pickup only. Ask us if you'd like a recommendation for installation.

Do you ship?

Not yet. All orders are picked up in Pasadena. We'll send the address and hours with your ready text.
